AIRBUS 320

Choosing to obtain an A320 Type Rating can significantly bolster your career opportunities and give you a competitive edge in the field of airline piloting. In India, the Airbus A320 dominates the skies and is preferred by the majority of airlines. Globally, the A320 surpassed its main rival, the Boeing 737, in October 2019, becoming the best-selling single-aisle commercial airliner. With over 8500 aircraft currently in service and an additional 6000 on firm order for the future, the A320 is undoubtedly a key player in the aviation industry. With India set to receive one Airbus aircraft per week collectively across all airlines, pursuing an A320 Type Rating becomes a compelling choice for pilots looking to advance their careers.

We offer A320 Type Rating in accordance with India's regulations. The A320 Type Rating includes MCC + JOC.

  • MCC, or Multi-Crew Cooperation Course, is essential for every commercial airliner pilot. Proficiency in MCC is vital as pilots need to understand their roles during various flight phases, including normal operations, as well as handling abnormal and emergency situations. This course equips pilots with skills in teamwork, decision-making, checklist utilization, and mutual support, providing insights into the operational framework of airline piloting.

The MCC training takes place on an A320 Fixed Base Simulator, facilitating a realistic grasp of aircraft systems and piloting dynamics.

  • The Jet Orientation Course (JOC) serves as an ideal training program for pilots transitioning from piston-engine aircraft to jet engine operations. Jet engines possess distinct characteristics, and this course is designed to enhance your understanding, handling skills, and situational awareness in the jet environment, ensuring proficient operation.

For many airlines globally, the Jet Orientation Course is regarded as a mandatory criterion in their selection process.

Each FFS session consists of 4 hours of flight training, divided between the pilot flying and the pilot not flying. A minimum period of eleven days is required for this segment of training.

A briefing begins an hour before the flight session, while a debriefing occurs for an hour after the session.A briefing begins an hour before the flight session, while a debriefing occurs for an hour after the session.
